Pre-Register and Absentee Vote
During an election year, the State of Minnesota encourages voters to pre-register.
You can register online through the Secretary of State’s website.
Absentee voting is an option available to voters if they aren't able to vote in person at their precinct on Election Day. Information on absentee voting can be found on the Carver County Elections website.
Watertown City Hall does not issue absentee ballots.
Polling Place
Voters living in the City of Watertown will come to City Hall at 309 Lewis Avenue South on Election Day. Polls will be open from 7:00 AM until 8:00 PM for the Primary and General Elections.
Primary Election
The Primary Election is held every First Tuesday after the first Monday in August in every even-numbered year.
General Election
The General Election is held every First Tuesday after the first Monday in November in every even-numbered year.
