This clean-up is for CITY OF WATERTOWN residents only. All residents will be required to show either a Minnesota driver’s license or identification card to verify residency. Township residents will not be allowed to dispose at this event.

CITY OF WATERTOWN residents will be able to dispose of appliances, electronics, carpet, mattresses, sofas, chairs, automotive batteries, tires (must be removed from rims), scrap metal, and miscellaneous household junk. Building materials, construction waste and large items such as hot tubs, boats, etc. will not be accepted. Business waste will not be accepted. Residents are encouraged to call Randy’s Environmental Services at (763) 972-3335 to make arrangements for large item drop off or special pick-up outside of this event.

Carver County will have the Hazardous Materials trailer located at the Watertown Township Shed.

2023 Fee Schedule

$30.00 Pickup/Trailer

$40.00 Oversized pickup or trailer

$10.00 Single Appliance or Electronic

** Due to increasing cost of recycling, there will be a limit of two large appliances/electronics (TVs, computers, washer, dryer, refrigerator, etc.) per household and a limit of 4 tires. Additional appliances/electronics will be charged at $10 per item. Additional tires will be charged $5 per tire.

Due to maneuverability and to avoid back-ups, no vehicles larger than a 1-ton pickup, a standard cargo van or a normal snowmobile/utility trailer will be allowed to enter the cleanup site. To make unloading more efficient, residents are asked to pre-sort items while loading their vehicles, i.e. keeping all appliances together, scrap metal together, miscellaneous trash together, hazardous waste together, etc. so items can be easily unloaded as they pass through each drop-off location.

City staff reserves the right to determine load size and to turn items away. If you have questions on whether certain items will be accepted, please call City Hall prior to clean-up.

We are always in need of volunteers to assist in unloading. If you’d like to volunteer or have any questions about Community Cleanup 2022, please contact Watertown City Hall at (952) 955-2681.
