Compost Site Temporarily Closed
Important Notice Regarding the Watertown Yard Waste Site
The City of Watertown yard waste site will be temporarily closed for the near future due to significant amounts of illegal dumping. The City is currently exploring options to better serve the legitimate needs of our residents, while at the same time reducing the amount of materials being brought in by non-local contractors and residents.
If you would like to know more about the options being explored by the City, please contact City Administrator Dan Tolsma at (952) 955-2681.
Additionally, you can watch the City Council work session from February 24th HERE where the City Council considered several options to improve the City's processes for managing local yard waste.
